What is a waste factor?
Extra material for cuts and mistakes, usually a percentage over measured area. If a quote omits it you may be asked for more material mid-job.
Is subfloor prep usually included?
Often not, because the condition is unknown until the old floor is up. Ask how it will be priced if leveling is needed.
